Indri is a single malt whisky brand produced by Piccadily Distilleries at its Indri site in Haryana, India. Launched in 2021 as the company’s first homegrown single malt, it is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-wine, and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Aromas of black tea, caramelised pineapple, oak, vanilla, honey, raisins and sweet cherry fill the nose, complemented by notes of oak, vanilla, blackberries, hazelnuts, orange zest and caramel throughout the palate.
The region’s pronounced seasonal temperature swings accelerate interaction between spirit and wood, shaping its maturation profile. Indri sits alongside Piccadily’s wider portfolio of Indian-made spirits, reflecting a focus on local grain and climate-driven development.
