This bold Glenallachie expression has been aged for 12 years in a single Pedro Ximenez puncheon. With an outrun of just 699 bottles, this highly limited single malt has been bottled at a huge cask strength of 61.1% abv. Free from chill filtration and at natural colour.
Expect aromas of orange zest, dark chocolate and sticky honeycomb, with hints of cedarwood, vanilla extract and plum jam. Waves of poached orchard fruits on the palate, followed by strawberry coulis, heather honey, treacle, raisin and hazelnut.
