The Luminary series is a range of three limited-edition single malts created by luminaries from the worlds of whisky and architectural design. This 2024-edition was matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in a combination of Graham’s Tawny Port pipes and Apostoles Sherry Casks. On the palate you will find notes of fig and Seville oranges, with passionfruit and freshly ground coffee.
Master Distiller of the Year at Icons of Whisky Scotland Awards 2023, Gregg Glass is unlocked a new flavour dimension to accentuate the recipe, hand-toasting one of the finishing casks for The Rare to enhance its rich layers. And for The Collectible, Gregg used a small proportion of exceptionally rare peated Dalmore to add a whisper of sweet herbal woodsmoke.
