Established in 1938, Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky Limited is a specialist independent whisky merchant with one of the largest privately held collections of aged single malt and single grain Scotch whisky casks.
The Big Smoke Heavily Peated was created to blend malt whiskies from some of the Scotland’s most iconic distilleries, selecting only the smokiest whiskies to put into one bottle. Intentionally bottling them in its most rugged form, this whisky is reminiscent of traditional Islay malts; full of peat smoke and coastal sweetness, powerful yet caressing. Everything you would expect from a blend of exceptional smoky whiskies. The previous bottlings, in the old packaging were at 46% but this new look launched in Summer 2022 has this beautiful dram bottled at 50%.
