The Shizuoka United S - First Edition, a single malt whisky, was released by the Shizuoka distillery in 2022. This product, bottled at 50.5% ABV, combines two single malt expressions, Shizuoka W and Shizuoka K. The whisky is crafted using peated and unpeated Scottish malt, along with unpeated German barley traditionally used in Pilsner beers. It is matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and wine casks, and is bottled without chill filtration or artificial colourings to preserve its natural character.
