At Shizuoka Distillery, two distillers for first distillation, named K and W, are in operation. K is a historic distillation machine manufactured in Japan in the 1950s. It was relocated from the now-defunct distillery to the Shizuoka Distillery, and the legendary distillation machine was revived like a phoenix. Its graceful, supple silhouette and indirect steam heating create a light and brightly flavored sake.
Prologue K is a single wash still whisky, made entirely from unblended whiskey distilled in this legendary distillation machine K and aged at the Shizuoka Distillery. As raw materials, we use not only British barley malt but also Japanese domestic barley malt. A delicate and delicate whiskey with a typical Japanese taste was born. Enjoy the pleasant aftertaste with a woody taste and a light peat scent.
