This is the second release of "K,'' which follows the flow of Shizuoka Distillery's first release "Prologue K.''
This is a special whisky that use only distiller K, and the raw material malted barley is 100% produced in Japan and also made up from a single first-run distiller. That's why it's called "single wash still whisky". The delicate and sweet taste of Japanese barley is refined even more elegantly by the K distiller. This taste is unique and can only be created by Shizuoka Distillery.
The product name is "Pot Still K'' to indicate that it is the successor to Prologue K and is made with raw spirit from a single first distillation. We named it "Pure Japanese Barley,'' which uses 100% Japanese malted barley, and "First Edition,'" indicating the first edition. This release will be limited to 2,500 bottles domestically – from the Distillery.
