Saburomaru Distillery is the only distillery in Hokuriku. Making full use of the brewing methods and materials that have been passed down since the brewing began in 1952, whiskey is still brewed with the same passion as in the past. I hope that whiskey loved by the world will be born from Toyama. The distillery that held a grand dream and carved its history has now been transformed into a distillery that can be visited. Saburomaru 2021 Hand Filled is cask #312 that’s a Bourbon barrel first-fill.
Distilled back in 2018 and it’s at cask strength 62% abv. 700ml.
Interestingly, Saburomaru required a quiz to enter the online lottery to purchase the bottle.
