The Ichiro's Malt Hanyu 20-Year-Old Cask Strength 2nd bottlings is a rare Japanese single malt from the closed Hanyu Distillery, famously bottled at a cask strength of 57.5% ABV (such as the notable 1st and 3rd bottlings).
The legendary Hanyu Distillery closed down at 2000 and completely dismantled in 2004, the remaining casks were rescued and bottled by Ichiro Akuto. This release represents a true piece of modern Japanese whisky history, crafted without colouring or chill-filtration.
