The Ichiro's Malt Hanyu 1986 Vintage Single Malt is an extremely rare and legendary Japanese whisky distilled at the closed Hanyu Distillery and bottled by Ichiro Akuto.
The Hanyu Distillery, founded by the Akuto family in Saitama, Japan, ceased production in 2000 and was dismantled in 2004. Founder's grandson Ichiro Akuto saved the remaining maturing single casks, releasing them under the Ichiro's Malt banner (including this 1986 vintage hogshead) which achieved legendary status among global collectors.
