This remarkable whisky was created in collaboration between Takahiko Inagaki of Komagatake distillery and the legendary Ichiro Akuto, the man behind Chichibu. By combining single malts from their respective distilleries, these two titans of the industry have created a blended malt that heralds a new age of co-operation in Japanese whisky and is absolutely delicious to boot. Expect ripe alphonso mangos, caramelised pineapple, notes of buttery leather and a thread of subtle spiciness that persists in the finish.
