Known as the legendary brewery, "Kamikawa Taisetsu Midoriokagura" was granted an exception by the government in 2017 to move from a closed brewery in Mie Prefecture to Kamikawa Town, a small town at the foot of Daisetsuzan National Park in northern Hokkaido . In order to ensure that our sake is a local sake from Hokkaido, we only use “Ginpu”, “Suisei”, and “Kita shizuku”, which are suitable for sake brewing and grown under contract with nearby farmers. In the clean and extremely efficient brewery, Kawabata, known as the number one brewer in Hokkaido, works. Under the direction of the experienced brewer Kawabata, young staff members work diligently to produce high-quality sake through small batches.
